ONGC Apprenticeship Recruitment 2024
ONGC’s apprenticeship program is conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and is part of the company’s nation-wide skill-building initiative. Through this program, ONGC aims to provide hands-on experience to young talent across different trades and disciplines.

ONGC Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
Eligible candidates can apply for this apprenticeship program if they meet the following criteria:
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 to 24 years of age as on 25.10.2024. There is age relaxation for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD (10 years).
- Educational Qualification: Applicants should hold qualifications ranging from 10th class, 12th class, ITI trade certificates, Graduation, or Diplomas in relevant fields depending on the specific trade they are applying for.

How to Apply for ONGC Apprenticeship Recruitment 2024?
The application process is entirely online. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Check Eligibility: Visit the official ONGC website and go through the eligibility criteria based on your district and qualifications.
- Register: Candidates must first register on either of the following portals:
- For trades 1-19: Register on the Apprenticeship India Portal
- For trades 20-40: Register on the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) Portal
- Fill the Application Form: After registering, apply on the ONGC portal by providing all the required details such as personal information, educational qualifications, and scanned documents.

Stipend and Training Duration
The apprentices will receive a monthly stipend based on their qualification levels:
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹9,000
- Diploma Holders: ₹8,050
- Trade Apprentices:
- 10th/12th: ₹7,000
- ITI (One-year course): ₹7,700
- ITI (Two-year course): ₹8,050
The training period for all selected candidates is 12 months.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on merit, drawn from the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations. In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with a higher age. ONGC will not conduct any written exam or interview for the selection.
