ONGC Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates can apply for this apprenticeship program if they meet the following criteria:

  • Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 to 24 years of age as on 25.10.2024. There is age relaxation for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD (10 years).

Stipend and Training Duration

The apprentices will receive a monthly stipend based on their qualification levels:

  • Graduate Apprentices: ₹9,000
  • Diploma Holders: ₹8,050
  • Trade Apprentices:
    • 10th/12th: ₹7,000
    • ITI (One-year course): ₹7,700
    • ITI (Two-year course): ₹8,050

The training period for all selected candidates is 12 months.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on merit, drawn from the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations. In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with a higher age. ONGC will not conduct any written exam or interview for the selection.
