IUST is hiring Contractual Assistant Professors for the following subjects. Below is a summary of the qualifications required for each department:

| Management | Bachelor’s degree and an MBA or equivalent with first class and two years of professional experience. NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. required. |
| Architecture | B. Arch with 60% marks and professional experience. M. Arch with similar criteria may also apply. |
| Design Your Degree (DYoD) | Bachelor’s or four-year diploma in Design or Fine Arts, with a Master’s degree in relevant fields. NET/SET/Ph.D. preferred. |

IUST Salary and Benefits
The remuneration for selected candidates will be as follows:
- PG Degree Holders (excluding Architecture): ₹45,000 per month
- NET/SET/GATE Qualified: ₹48,000 per month
- Ph.D. Holders: ₹50,000 per month
- Candidates with both NET/SET/GATE and Ph.D.: ₹50,000 per month
- For Architecture: B. Arch/M. Arch holders will receive ₹50,000 per month.
The tenure of the contract is initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and university requirements.

IUST Assistant Professor Application Procedure
Eligible candidates must follow the steps below to apply for the IUST recruitment:
- Online Application:
Candidates should apply through the official IUST portal www.iust.ac.in under the specified tab for faculty recruitment. - Application Fee:
A non-refundable application fee of ₹300/- must be paid online while submitting the form. - Submission of Hard Copy:
After applying online, candidates are required to submit a hard copy of the application form, along with self-attested documents, to the respective Heads of the Departments at IUST before the deadline. Failure to submit the hard copy will result in disqualification. - Important Dates:
- Start of Online Application: 14th September 2024
- Last Date for Online Submission: 18th September 2024

IUST Selection Process
The selection process will be based on the following criteria:
- Academic Merit (UGC Guidelines 2018):
50% of the selection weightage will be based on academic qualifications. - Interview Performance:
The remaining 50% of the weightage will be determined by the interview.
In the event of a large number of applications, candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit. For one vacancy, 20 candidates will be shortlisted, and an additional 5 candidates will be shortlisted for every subsequent vacancy.
