Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

The eligibility criteria are categorized based on the type of employment background:

  • For Railways/State Govt./Central Govt. and Govt. owned autonomous bodies like CRIS, etc.:
    • A degree in any discipline is required.
  • For PSU Candidates:
    • The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).

Experience:

Applicants should have a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience working in accounts, finance, or taxation departments. This experience is crucial for handling high-level responsibilities within IRCTC’s Finance Division.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 55 years as of the closing date, i.e., November 7, 2024.

IRCTC Deputy General Manager Selection Process
